The South East Transit Project
The South East Transit Project involved planning and construction of Queensland's first busway located between Brisbane central business district and Eight Mile Plains, as well as ten busway stations. THGQ played an integral part in the delivery of the SETP with Tony Gordon-Brown being a key member of the project management team and looking after the majoritiy of sections within the South Bank Precinct. Don Steele the SEPT Project Director and Daniel Allanson are both now with THGQ.
The Cultural Centre Busway Station
The Cultural Centre Busway Station Stage 2 consisted of the provision of passing lanes, removal of the at grade pedestrian crossing, the provision of stairs and the provision of an overhead roof between the existing Cultural Centre buildings. Tony Gordon-Brown was the Project Manager for this Queensland Transport project along with Corey Baldwin.
The Boggo Road Busway
The Boggo Road Busway is a 1.5km dedicated busway between Ipswich Road and O'Keefe Street to the Green Bridge in Dutton Park. The project comprises cut and cover and driven tunnel, busway stations and road and drainage works. THGQ did the initial planning and supplied numerous resources to the project.
The Southern Queensland ARRP Bridge Project
The SQ ARRP Bridge Project is a DMR bulked up, bring forward "proof of concept" project, replacing 31 timber bridges from Stanthorpe to north of Bundaberg. It was completed by December 2009, at a cost of $126M. THGQ are supplying the Project Director Mike Harris.
