The Boggo Road Busway is a 1.5km dedicated busway between the intersection
of Ipswich Road and O’Keefe Street to the Green Bridge in Dutton Park. The project
comprises cut and cover and driven tunnel, busway stations and road and drainage
works. It is being delivered under an alliance contract.
It is part of the State Government's Integrated Regional Transport Plan for
Queensland. The busway will link to the South East Busway to the Green Bridge, the University
of Queensland, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Park Road Rail Station and the Boggo
Road Urban Village.
This complex transport infrastructure project involved
the negotiation across several government agencies, community and
stakeholder to agree cost and scope requirements. The Harrison Group (Qld)
was also involved in the development and implementation of the community
consultation for the project.
