The Cultural Centre Busway Station, at South Bank, is part of the South-East Busway served by TransLink bus routes. This busway station is the first stop outside Brisbane city and is centrally located between the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and the Queensland Museum / Queensland Art Gallery.

The Cultural Centre Busway Station Stage 2 consisted of the provision of passing lanes, removal of the at grade pedestrian crossing, the provision of stairs and the provision of an overhead roof between the existing Cultural Centre buildings.

The Harrison Group provided the overall project management for the delivery of this project. This was a very complex project as 70% of all Brisbane City council buses travel through the site and the works were carried out maintaining an operational busway.
