The Southern Region ARRP Bridge Projects aim to bring toward the replacement of 31 timber bridges between Stanthorpe and the North of Bundaberg. The bridges will be replaced with concrete structures and approach works.

The $126m ARRP bridge project is a "proof of concept" project that aims to prove the cost effectiveness and efficiency of bulking up the replacement of timber bridges, and to maximise the innovation, and supply chain efficiencies gained from private sector involvement.

The project is delivering the majority of the works, 28 bridges, through an innovative form of alliance contract, where alliance participants were selected individually , and where key supply chain organisations (precasters and pilers) are full alliance participants.

THGQ is supplying Mike Harris as the Project Director, and Chris Brincat as the Project Manager (Resumptions).
